Physical Contact Connectors

The ARINC 801 cylindrical fiber optic connector range designed for aerospace and military applications. Based on the commercial ARINC 801 specification, this series features a removable alignment sleeve retainer (ASR) for ease of termini end face cleaning, guide pins for precision alignment and a scoop proof shell design. It is available in standard D38999 plug and wall mount shells. Inserts are available to support 2 to 32-channels and can support both PC and APC. Available in Multimode & Singlemode.

The LC Field Fibre Optic Connectivity Solution allows you to transform your standard LC patchleads into a ruggedized, environmental connector solution. Utilising the MIL-DTL-38999 Series III Size 19 shell, these connectors offer a tri-start thread with ant-vibration coupling. Designed for use in the most demanding harsh environments and provides the ultimate in reliable performance.

The TAC4 series hermaphroditic connector offers the ultimate in flexibility. The TAC4 connectors can function as either a plug or a receptacle to fit any system design. With these connectors, cable assemblies can be daisy-chained to provide the required distance for each specific deployment condition. Available in Multimode & Singlemode.

The HDM is a 2 channel hermaphroditic connector which allows the daisy chaining of cable assemblies therefore eliminating the need for polarising the assemblies or in-line adaptors. There is a bayonet locking mechanism, it is sealed and ensures high environmental and optical performance in a variety of applications ranging from land tactical to broadcasting applications. Aluminium body with a Zinc Cobalt or Black anodised finish. Available in Multimode & Singlemode.

The MFM is rugged, sealed, ant-vibration and corrosion resistant ensuring high environmental and optical performance in a variety of applications ranging from aerospace, land, and above / below sea.They are constructed with a ratchet coupling nut for high-vibration applications. The connectors are manufactured from ARCAP which provides very high corrosion resistance. Keying options provide superior alignment, optical performance and can also prevent misconnection. Multimode & Singlemode available.

TFOCA-II Harsh Environment Fibre Optic Connector
The TFOCA-II® 4 & 12 Channel fibre optic connector, designed is ideal for environmentally harsh conditions. This design takes advantage of the latest in fibre optic connectivity technology by utilizing industry standard physical contact ceramic ferrules.
The TFOCA-II® connector is designed for minimal maintenance in the field but is also fully field repaired reusing all components with the exception of the termini.
Its removable end cap allows direct access to the alignment sleeve and termini.

MIL-DTL-38999 Series III. The D38999 circular connector series is designed for harsh environments, particularly those with wide temperature ranges and high mechanical vibrations. This electrical connector is adapted for fiber optics by using M29504/4 and /5 termini. These termini fit into any size 16 contact cavity. Available in a variety of materials and platings. Multimode & Singlemode Termini.
